The CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the companys daily business operations and administration. Compiling the company financial reports, implementing business strategies and optimizing the organizations operational capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives, driving efficiency, scalability, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve workflows, and enhance operational efficiency across all departments, including customer service, finance, and compliance.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor operational performance, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation efforts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards while safeguarding the company’s assets and reputation.
- Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business requirements.
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the adoption and integration of cutting-edge technologies and automation solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and innovation.
- Standardize the internal management process and improve the current processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive operational excellency.
- Build and manage strategic partnership with external parties.
- Lead and control strategic project planning process, and resource allocations.
- Stay abreast of relevant regulatory developments and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, mitigating compliance risks and maintaining the company’s integrity and reputation.
- Act as the point of contact and Provider Manager for external Service Providers.
- Balance multiple program/projects from initiative to closure by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Seasoned professional with over four (4) years of hands-on experience specializing in risk management and operations within the financial sector
- Membership to a relevant regulatory body is a must.
- Understanding of industry relevant regulatory- and legal-aspects.
- Able to work independently.
